Office tower in passive house standards
A new office building was planned to enhance the neighborhood in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbor, with a strong emphasis on resource-efficient operation. The building was designed to be particularly energy-conscious, aiming for a heating energy requirement of no more than 15 kW/m2, aligning with passive house standards. Additionally, the goal was to balance energy consumption with on-site electricity generation as much as possible, striving for a net-zero energy footprint.
My partner and I focused on maximizing the use of renewable energy sources while also implementing resource-saving measures, such as utilizing gray water and biomass, to create an environmentally responsible building.
